Glenn Lucas SCV, RPM, CIC, is a professor at Algonquin College (law department) and a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada (paralegal).-now Law Society of Ontario as of November 2017
Mr. Lucas brings to the Board his 32 years of experience in property assessment matters. He began his career as a real estate entrepreneur in development, management and ownership of residential lots, multi-residential buildings, commercial/industrial sites, shopping centres, malls and retirement homes. Then, 32 years ago, he began to assist other property owners who were concerned about property over-assessments. He has represented about 6,000 property owners in Ontario and Quebec.
Mr. Lucas has been recognized by the Assessment Review Board and the Ontario Provincial Courts as an expert witness on property valuation matters. He has been a member of several advisory boards that have made submissions to the Ontario Ministry of Finance on assessment and taxation matters.
